WICKED CAMPERS

As I sit at home trying to finalise my packing for the next several months of my life (Moving house – Adelaide – Xmas – New Years – Beach House – Melbourne – Gold Coast – Great Barrier Reef – LA – all before mid February) I remember the good times in my Wicked Camper Van in the UK. Twice now they have made my tour around the UK possible and I am so grateful to the awesome team at Wicked for being such a lovely leg up in a difficult economic climate! Please if you have any pics of me with the Van or just of the Van please post them to facebook or twitter over the break. For those of you that didn’t get a pic but did get to see me play live, the nicest thing you could do would be to tweet a massive thank you to @wickedcamperseu for facilitating my return to the UK! Something simple like “Thanks @wickedcamperseu for bringing @samclarkmusic to the UK again!” would be the best xmas gift you could give me!

Thanks so much guys for all your support and I hope everyone has a safe and loving christmas and new year break whatever you are doing!

I’m hoping to put together a special xmas newsletter too (may be a few days late depending on how packing goes today haha) – so if you haven’t already signed up please do so here

UK Tour 2011 Complete

So here I am awake at 6am on Saturday and thanks to wonderful Jet lag I am awake. I still haven’t unpacked yet and probably should have before writing this but I felt the urge to say a massive thank you to everyone involved. I won’t make a massive list because I’m sure I’ll mess it up in my current sleepless state but I will explain what this trip has meant for me.

After my previous experiences in the music industry (management and a label with different intentions to mine) I had started to become unsure of my future in the music industry. This tour was a massive test for me. Would my fans like my new music and would I enjoy touring as a total barebones tour – just me and my guitar performing daily in front of between 15-15000 people. If this worked then I would create music for as long as I could still afford and enjoy it?

And I’m pleased to say I loved my time in the UK. It had it’s ups and downs (especially financially) but I’m hoping with some luck to be back again sometime in 2012 :) I truly love what I am doing with my music again for the first time in years and I have every positive person in the last 5 years of my musical journey and especially those involved with my 2011 UK tour to thank for that!

Anyway I think I’m just rambling now and feel I can almost convince myself to do some washing and unpack everything so I think it’s time for me to sign off!

Thank you all so much

Peace and much love to you all
